My arrangement of two old fiddle tunes, of which Soldier's Joy has been an immensely popular fiddle tune. All the guitar work in Ida Red is my interpretation of stuff an old-time fiddler would play, lots of shuffle strokes. You can hear the transition to Soldier's Joy, to which I remain fairly true in my arrangement.
